As the state’s single higher education finance agency, our mission is to promote and increase access to education beyond high school for Georgians. We accomplish this by administering numerous scholarship, grant, and student loan programs and providing outreach and education services statewide.

HOPE

FAFSA Completion

Research has shown 90% of high school graduates who filed a FAFSA enrolled directly in a postsecondary program. A key initiative for the state and the nation is increasing completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and actively promoting its importance:

Dual Enrollment

A program that provides funding for students at eligible high schools that are enrolled to take approved college-level coursework for credit towards both high school and college graduation requirements.
